Full-bodied, deep, and opulent, this single vineyard 100% Cabernet Sauvignon offers voluptuous layers of fully ripened black cherries and cassis, with hints of tobacco, leather, and well-integrated French oak.  This offers rich complexity displaying both power and elegance, with a long, focused finish. 

 

Sigaro Vineyard is located on the eastern slopes of St. Helena overlooking Lake Hennesy with neighbors like Colgin, Bryant, and Chappellet.   This organic vineyard produces fully riped dark fruit with less than 1.5 tons of fruit per acre.  Proprietar, Larry Fairchild has two of the best talents involved: vineyard Manager, Jim Barbour (DR Stephens, Hundred Acre, Revana, Husic and more), and winemaking guru, Paul Hobbs.  

 

With just under 200 cases total, Larry Farchild has remained under the radar with his Cabernet projects and the Sigaro Vineyard is limited.  This is another ultra fine Cab that you will pleased to have in your cellar and have your friends asking just where you get such cool wines from!
