“stepped it up” with this new release. This 100% Cabernet from
Stagecoach and Beckstoffer ToKalon is full-bodied, more on the opulent-side
and shows spectatular richness and complexity. Abundant flavors of
blackberry, cassis, mocha, espresso bean and well integrated French oak are
beautifully balanced and persist throughout the wine’s development on the
palate. This was aged for 21 months in 100% French Oak (70% New) and
bottled unfined and unfiltered. A solid 93 points, Robert Parker.
The first release from Vice Versa was one of the
first Cabernets to be featured on my A-List last year. We sold through
our 40 six packs rather quickly. With only 175 cases produced this
vintage, this will not be around for long!
