Bishop’s Peak Chardonnay Central Coast

Rich and luscious, this offers up ripe tropical fruit, hints of lemon and honeydew with a clean, vibrant backbone of acidity.

Bishop’s Peak is Talley’s negociant label. This Chardonnay comes from the Cypress Vineyard in Monterey County and the Wolff Vineyard in Edna Valley.

Dillon Vineyards Yountville Chardonnay

Full-flavored, rich and crowd-pleasing with layers of baked pear, pineapple, and spicy citrus fruit with a hint of butter cream and vanilla.  This shows a nice creamy texture (goes through ML) with well-integrated French oak.   Tanya's new favorite Chard!

Four Vines Naked Chardonnay Santa Barbara

Opens up floral and graceful with a touch of pear followed by a hint of tropical fruit on the midpalate, finishing clean and fresh. A delicious Unoaked Chardonnay that offers up both ripe fruit and bright, refreshing acidity. “Naked” is done in 100% Stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation to preserve the freshness, and some months spent on the lees for added complexity & depth. Delicious!

Frank Family Chardonnay Napa Valley 

Beautiful ripe aromas of freshly baked apple pie, vanilla and roasted almonds. This is ripe and rich on the palate with bright tropical fruit and butter notes. This is smooth with integrated toasty oak and a long elegant finish. Frank Family has been well established in Napa making wines that are solid and highly sought after. After tasting this 2004 Cabernet, we truly agree.

Hanzell Sonoma Chardonnay 

Rich, full flavored, this is one of California ’s best Burgundian-styled Chardonnays. 

This offers bright aromas of citrus, bread dough, flowers, and a hint of hazelnut.  This is stunning and lively with pear notes, exotic tropical fruit, and a honeyed, creamy richness that will continue to develop with bottle age. 100% Estate Grown.

Kongsgaard Chardonnay Napa Valley 

Wonderful layers of ripe pear, tangerine and citrus fruit, pineapple, orange blossom, and freshly crusted stones deliver on this bright and vibrant Chardonnay. This is a big, focused Chardonnay with a hint of quince and honey on the finish.  This remains one of the most sought after Chardonnays with big, impressive scores, great restaurant placements, and prices well over $150. This has consistently scored between 94-98 Points from Robert Parker between the 1997-2006 vintage. That is untouchable.

Lewis Chardonnay Napa Valley  

Rich, full-flavored and bursting with ripe tropical fruit, pineapple and  pear, with notes of vanilla custard, crème brulee, and toasty oak.   This is lush and mouthcoating supported by bright acidity.   2007 was a near-perfect vintage for Chardonnay, and this is one of Lewis’ best efforts.  93 Points, WS.

Lewis Chardonnay Sonoma Russian River Valley  

Deliciously rich and focused, the Sonoma Chardonnay offers notes of honeysuckle, citrus blossom,  with a hint of cinnamon – oak spice.  This remains fresh and balanced from start to finish with lively acidity. 95 Points, WS. 

Gain Bay Chardonnay Napa Valley

This has all the makings for your next favorite Chardonnay, says Tanya. Rich on the palate with a nice creamy texture, this offers bright tropical banana and citrus fruit with a plush mouth feel and a fresh, clean finish. This is aged on the lees for 10 months and goes grow malolatic fermentation giving this the rich, creaminess that remains a favorite among Chardonnay drinkers.  Simply delicious and a solid value.

Rombauer 2006 Chardonnay Carneros, Napa

Rich and full-bodied with peach, apple, and mango aromas and flavors.

The creamy texture of asian pears and peaches glides across the palate and the light oak tones highlight the wine's complex and lingering finish. Some call this wine the King of Chardonnay!

Talley Estate Arroyo Grande Valley Chardonnay

Rich and vibrant, the `06 Talley Chardonnay boasts lemon, pineapple, and sweet orange blossom with subtle mineral tones, along with hints of grilled nuts and toast.

This fruit is a blend from the Arroyo Grande Estate Rincon Vineyard (84%), with the balance coming from Rosemary's Vineyard.

This is a versatile, food-friendly Chardonnay.
