Wine Street is a North County San Diego full-service wine shop specializing in premium wines from around the world. In 2007, the shop entered its 14th year of serving the North County community. We offer everything from the biggest names in Napa to up-and-coming producers from Spain, Italy and beyond. We feature a Friday Night Tasting every week and offer three popular Wine Clubs. We have an excellent selection of wines, a terrific staff and great service. If we're not your wine shop already, we welcome the chance to serve you. Please check out our site and give us a call (760-431-8455) if you would like to order, or if we can help you find a specific wine. Thanks.

Tanya Kinberg, Owner

As owner of Wine Street for over seven years, Tanya has overseen the growth of the shop to a 4,000 square foot facility offering wines from around the world.  After earning her PhD in Clinical Psychology, she caught the wine bug.  With her parents Art and Trece Kinberg, she acquired Wine Street in 1999. These days, when she's not in the shop, she can be found numerous times a year kicking the dirt around Napa and Sonoma, solidifying relationships with up-and-coming producers and arranging first calls on projects from some of the biggest names in California....and the hotshots who will be really big names in the coming years.

Tanya's A-List
is your way to get first priority on the best, handcrafted, call them "serious" wines from Napa.  Trust us when we say Tanya has her finger on the pulse for what is happening in Napa.

Tanya likes to "share the love" and when we only have one or two cases of something really special, you want her to think of you! If you are not already on my A - List and wish to be, email me at the link just below with your request.

Toby Oshiro, Wine Buyer

After spending five years working in academia, Toby realized his interest in wine had begun to outweigh his desire to teach English. He made the leap into the wine business and has never looked back.  He is most interested in balanced, food-friendly wines that express a sense of place, which usually leads to the Old World, though a growing number of boutique domestic producers also fit the bill. An avid cook and foodie, Toby enjoys classic food and wine pairings as well as more adventurous ones (Machaca burrito and Alsatian Riesling—unlikely yet delicious).

Toby is recognized as a Certified Specialist of Wine by the Society of Wine Educators and is currently studying to become a Certified Wine Educator.
